Mr & Mrs. Anthony & Tina Lim
We had a great wedding with your wedding glitches, but I guess thats to be expected. I have to say I am glad its over and I am just looking forward to living our lives together.
We have returned from our "Honeymoon" @ Couples Negril. The resort was amazing even post hurricane. The weather was great everyday except it would rain for 30 min in the middle of the day. The service was absolutely amazing at resort. Everyone was so nice and considerate. They would call you by name. It took some time getting use to having tina being called "Mrs. Lim."
The food was top notch at every location in the resort. I lost actually 20 lbs. before the wedding, but quickly gained 10 while being there. Its like a cruise, you can have a meal at anytime you want. I was very impressed with the fine dinning, especially with 18 year scotch I had with my rack of lamb.
We had an ocean front suite, which was amazing. The advertisements were pretty on. The Hammock looking at the water and beach was sweet. The rooms were nice, but I would say its great comfort.
We were adventurous and did all the water-sports, but these 2 stood out.
Snorkeling - This was a great time, especially at night. We saw a variety schools of fish. It was amazing they are all around you.
Scuba diving - This was a great time as well, especially since we saw shark that was like 3 ft from us. It didn't even touch us. We were told Jamaican sharks are harmless, but I still have my reservations of being next to one. The instructor was amazing. It was only about 32 ft dive, but the dive was defintely an great opportunity. I would highly recommended it. you see as many fish as snorkeling, but we had to pass multiple test before diving. It was professional and safe. If you decide to do it, make your not flying the same day you are diving. The instructor mention nitrogen bubbles develop your blood and have to disappear before flying. Its dangerous thats all I know.
Other activities we attend was the Catermeran Cruise (Booze Cruise) it was a lot fun and very scenic, but man alot of booze. Its all inclusive and so is the booze. All you need is about $10 if you want to do some cliff diving. I didn't do it. Just couldn't imagine myself jumping off a 30 ft cliff. I still had a couple of days so we wanted to return safely.
It was affordable and worth every nickel with food, drinks (lots of it), water sports and I feel like I got my money over 10 folds.
